The Great Big Dance Show (2012, 2013 and 2014) was a showcase of the best dance from Aberdeen and the North East, encompassing a range of styles and featuring performers from all of Aberdeen’s leading dance schools. The Great Big Dance Show was produced by Jennifer Phillips and directed by Judith Stephen.

The Great Big Dance Show was part of national initiative Get Scotland Dancing and provided an opportunity for all dancers from Aberdeen and the North East, to perform on stage at His Majesty’s Theatre. The Great Big Dance Show included new work created for a diverse community cast, as well as showcasing the huge range of local dance talent. The show involved over 30 local dance groups and 300 dancers each year.
