Jack is one of Scotland’s leading dancers, choreographers and teachers who has worked and performed internationally with various companies and choreographers over the past decade, most recently with the world renowned fashion designer Hussein Chalayan and choreographer Damien Jalet on the major production ‘Gravity Fatigue’ at Sadler’s Well’s, London. He has recently appeared in the centenary edition of British Vogue for Hussein Chalayan, photographed by Tim Walker. Other companies David Hughes Dance Scotland (works by Kylie Walters and Tanja Leidtke), the Curve Foundation (works by Hofesh Schecter, Henri Oguike, Jonathan Watkins), Coiscem Dance Theatre, Alan Greig Dance Theatre, Croiglan Integrated Dance (work by Adam Benjamin and David Bolger), Jose Vidal Company, Dance Theatre Luxembourg, Via Negativa, Company Chordelia Dance Theatre, Charles Linehan, Simon Vincenzi, Ben Wright and Matthew Hawkins amongst many others. Major TV and film projects include appearances in RTE’s ‘Centenary’, Ireland, choreography by David Bolger and Sunshine on Leith, UK, choreography by Arthur Pita.
As a choreographer he has created an acclaimed body of choreographic work, establishing a bold and distinctive choreographic voice which has been presented extensively in major theatres and festivals the UK and Europe.
