One of Scotland’s leading dancers, choreographers and teachers, Jack was recently awarded the ‘One To Watch’ winner at the Sunday Herald Scottish Culture Awards 2016. He has established a bold and distinctive choreographic voice and created an acclaimed body of work, which has been presented extensively in major theatres and festivals the UK and Europe.

THE END
When we end something, is this an opportunity to look at things differently and begin again? Jack Webb’s company of three exceptional dancers confront and explore the dramatic notion of end points, the end of the world, the end of life as we know it, the end of good, bad and all in between. Extraordinary choreographic style and powerful soundscapes combine for an uncompromising and compelling experience that looks our existence straight in the eye.

Choreographer and Tramway Associate Artist Jack Webb and a company of three exceptional dancers confront and explore the dramatic notion of end points, the end of the world, the end of life as we know it, the end of good, bad and all in between. Extraordinary choreographic style and powerful soundscapes combine for a startlingly thoughtful and compelling experience that looks our very existence straight in the eye.

THE END is a Tramway and BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art co-production and is supported by Creative Scotland, Dance Base, City Moves Dance Agency and the contributors to an Indiegogo crowd fund campaign.
